Once you have created a Zone you are ready to add new Ads to your site.
To add a new Ad:
Click Advertisements under Advertising in the administration menu.
The following page will display the list of existing ads.
Click Add a new Advertisement at the top of the page
Enter a Name for the Ad. This is not displayed on the site, and is only used for you to differentiate between ads.
Enter a Client - the advertiser for this advertisement
Choose a Zone from the list. The ad must be assigned to a Zone to display on the site. If there are no Zones, you must Add a new Zone to display the ad on the site.
Choose an Ad Space - this will determines how many ad spaces this advertisement will cover.
Check Show on every request (not rotated out) if you would not like your advertisement to be rotated out with any other ads in that zone.
Note: Flash movies may be uploaded here only if they use clickTAG to allow for click tracking
Next to Upload Image, click the Browse... button to choose the image from your computer. The image must be a .jpg or .gif file.
Enter a Description for the ad
Enter a Target URL. This is the URL that the ad will link to.
Enter a Custom Advertising Code. Note: If custom advertising code is specified, then the uploaded advertisement, description, and target URL are ignored. It will not be possible to track the number of clicks on the advertisement. Examples of custom advertising code are plain text ads, embedded flash movies, google adsense, or javascript.
Choose a Status. The Status must be Enabled for the Ad to appear on the site. Choose Disabled if you do not yet want the ad to appear on the site.
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page
A confirmation page will appear with a link back to the list of Adversisements.
