Traffic By Screen Resolution

Choose view your site's traffic By Screen Resolution to see the various screen sizes visitors are using to view your site.

To view your site's hits by various screen sizes, click By Screen Resolution under Traffic Reports in the administration menu.

Screen size is the monitor resolution someone has their computer set to. 1024x768 screen resolution means that the screen resolution is 1024 pixels wide and 768 pixels high.  Most newer computers are set to 1024x768 screen resolution.  Most older computers (such as those made with Windows 98 and older) are set to 800x600 screen resolution by default.  Many people will set their monitors to 800x600 to make text larger for readability.  Anyone, including someon at lower resolutions, hates horizontal scrolling - having to scroll a window left and right just to read text or look at a picture.  When we create your site's layout, we do our best to prevent any horizontal scrolling due to graphic sizes.  You should keep this in mind when filling in your site's content. Try changing your monitor resolution to 800x600 once in a while to make sure your site still looks good at that resolution.  Keep these sizes in mind when adding large pictures and other objects to your site.  If you need help making your site look right at a certain resoution, contact customer support.
