Before you add an ad to your site, you will first want to add a Zone. The Zone tells the module where the Ad will appear and what size of ads should appear in this position. If multiple ads appear in a Zone, the module will randomly choose which ad to display on the page in the zone.
To add a new Zone:
Click Zones under Advertising in the administration menu.
The following page will display the list of existing Zones.
Click Add a new Zone at the top of the page.
Enter a Name for the zone. The zone's name will not display on the page and is only use for you to help differentiate between zones.
Choose what Pages the zone will appear on:
None (Hidden/Attached) - Ads in this zone will not appear on the site.
All Pages - Ads in this zone will appear on every page of the site.
All Pages except Main Page
Main Page and Articles - Ads in this zone will appear on every page except built-in pages related to modules, such as the Contacts page or the Calendar pages.
Main Page Only
Articles Only - Ads in this zone will on appear on normal Article pages.
Chose a Placement for the zone:
Below Page Title - Ads in this zone will be centered on the page below the page title
Along Right Side of Page (Vertical) - Ads in this zone will appear in a column on the right side of the page.
Show Ads in Column - determines where ads at the above location will be displayed.
Sort Value - determines order of appearance relative to other zones in the same location
Ad Spaces - determines how many advertisements may be displayed concurrently. Arrange ad spaces vertically or horizontally.
Gap (padding) around ad spaces - Adds spacing between adds.
