Put a Subscription Form on your Site

Users can add themselves to your Mailing List through a Subscription Form. This can be done two different ways.

The first method is to paste the form's HTML code somewhere on your site:

Click Subscription Form under Mailing List in the administration menu.

Copy the HTML code located on this page.To copy the code, highlight the code and press Ctrl+C on your keyboard. For reference, this code is noted below.

Modify an article or the main page of your site.

Click the icon in the toolbar of the graphical editor to switch to HTML view.

Place your cursor at the very beginning or very end of the existing HTML code.

Paste the form code by pressing Ctrl+V on your keyboard.

Click the icon in the toolbar to switch back to normal view.

The form will appear at the top or bottom of the content in the editor. The second method is to use the built in form on your site. To use the built-in form, do one of the following three options:

Modify the main page or an article on your site, and use the graphical editor to create a link to "signup.php"

Create a Topmenu link using the Link (URL) type that point to your site's address with "signup.php" added to the end. For example, the URL for the signup page at YourWebPress.com is http://www.yourwebpress.com/signup.php

Create an Articleusing the Link (URL) type that point to your site's address with "signup.php" added to the end. For example, the URL for the signup page at YourWebPress.com is http://www.yourwebpress.com/signup.php
