Add a new Topmenu Link

 
The Topmenu is an essential part of your site that is built into WebPress. Topmenu links help your users navigate your website.

Start Managing your Topmenu

  • To start adding links to your site's Topmenu, click Topmenu under Menus in the administration menu.

Add Links to your Topmenu

FIXME

  • Click Add a new Topmenu Link at the top of the page.

  • Enter a Name for the topmenu. The is the text that will appear in the topmenu.
  • Enter a Sort Key (optional). This determines where in the list of links this item will appear.
  • Viewable By is the lowest level group that will be able to see this link in the Topmenu
  • Choose a Type for this link:
    • Link to URL — use this type to link to a specific address on the Web.
    • Link to Action — use this type to link to a page generated by a WebPress module.
    • Link to Article — use this type to link to an Article on your site
    • Link to File — use this type to link to an file from your repository

  • If you choose, check the box to have this Topmenu Link open in a new browser window.

  • Note: The "http://" is required. If this is omitted, the link will not function properly.
