Deleting a Poll completely removes it off of the site.
To delete a Poll from your site, check the box in the Delete column next to the Poll you wish to delete. You may mark more than one Poll at a time to be deleted. You may also select the Check all or Uncheck all option which are located directly above the Delete button. Check all will select ALL Polls for deletion and Uncheck all removes any selected Polls for deletion.
Once you have checked all the Polls you wish to delete, click the Delete at the bottom of the list of your site's Polls.
A confirmation screen will come up with your Polls marked for deletion. Un-check any that you do not wish to delete. Once you are ready to delete the Polls, click the Delete button.
A 'Success' screen will come up. Once your Poll is deleted, all results from that Poll will also be deleted.
