To add a new Location, click on Locations in the Administration menu. Next, click on Add a new Location.
Enter a Title for your Location and then enter a Location Type. Please see Add a new Location Type for instructions. A single location my be added to multiple location types by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on each appropriate location type.
Enter an Address, City, State, and Zip for the Location. The Phone, Fax, and Map Image fields are optional. If entering a Map Image, images will be resized to 640x480 pixels. Uploaded maps will replace the map that is automatically generated by Google Maps.
Type a Note about your Location. These are generally brief descriptions about the Location, or possibly a link to another site or to an article within your site.
If you have the Latitude / Longitude of a Location, you may enter it in the designated field. If the latitude and longitude inputs below are left blank, the Google Geocode service will be used to retrieve these values. Otherwise, the values entered below will be used when mapping this location. To find the latitude and longitude values for a location, click the "Map it" button below to open an interactive map interface. When entering the Latitude / Longitude, you must still enter an oddress of some kind. For example, "corner of 1st & 5th", as the Address, City, State, and Zip fields are required for all locations.
To activate this location, make sure the drop down box labeled Active is set to "Yes".
