The New User Welcome Email feature will send a welcome email to new users after they have registered for your website.
To find this feature, click on User Accounts in your Administration Menu. Next, click on Settings and then Edit next to the New User Welcome Email field.
Check the box next to Send welcome email to new users after registration if you would like to activate this option. Next, fill the Your Email box in. This is the email address that is displayed in the From field.
Enter a Subject in the next box.
Note Certain text in the subject and body are handled in a special manner: will be replaced by the username of the user viewing the email will be replaced by the first name of the user viewing the email will be replaced by the last name of the user viewing the email
Choose a Format for you email. You can use Plain Text or click on Switch to HTML to change the Format to HTML. Finally, enter a Body / Message for your email.
Click on Save when you're done editing these settings.
