Create a Directory

 

You may want to create new directories, or folders, to better organize your files.

To create a new Directory

To create a new directory, click Files (Uploads) in the administration menu.

Name your new Directory



  • To start uploading files, click Files (Uploads) in the administration menu.
  • In the Create a new Directory box, enter the Name of the directory you want to create.
  • Choose a parent directory.  The directory you create can be inside an existing directory.
  • Click the Create button.
  • A confirmation page will appear with a link back to the files list.  The new directory will appear with your list of files, and the directory will be empty.
  • Note: Directories can also be created using the graphical editor.  If you are using the graphical editor at the time you wish to create the new directory, you may want to use this option instead.
